About This Blog

I started this blog over two years ago.  So, before we begin, let's take a whirl back to the year 2009....the president was Barack Obama, Facebook was the in thing, and cargo shorts were becoming more unfashionable by the second.  Yet I still wore them.  My roommate and good friend, Rob, was going to study abroad in France for a semester, and I was toiling over the fact that he was going to have a way more interesting life than me for the next few months.  While in my sad state, inspiration struck.  I came up with the idea to have competing blogs.  Rob would log his undoubtedly interesting adventures, and I would try to keep up and stay relevant.  The idea being that it would be really interesting to hear about Rob's time in France, but it would also be very entertaining to hear about how one of his best friends was coping without his wingman.  Each week, people would then vote on whose stories they liked better.  We would advertise it to our friends and family, they would tell all their friends, and pretty soon, we would become undeniable viral internet sensations.  Well that fell through, and you can still see my few sporadic posts from 2009...now back to today. Barack Obama is still president, I've never spent more time on Facebook, and I'm still fighting the decline of the cargo short.

Today, I've re-purposed this blog. And it's re-purpose is a secret.  Even to me. We'll see where it goes.
